We are seeking a detail-oriented Civil Draftsman to join our Civil Engineering team. In this key role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed 2D and 3D drawings for a wide range of civil engineering and building works projects. The ideal candidate will use AutoCAD and other software tools to prepare detailed drawings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Drafting and Design: Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings, designs, and models based on engineers’ specifications and project requirements.
2. Building Works: Create detailed drawings for building structures, including foundations, structural elements, and utilities, ensuring integration with site and civil works.
3. Project Coordination: Work closely with civil engineers, architects, and project managers to understand and interpret design specifications, schedules, and requirements.
4. Site Plans and Drawings: Develop site plans, topographic profiles, cross-sections, drainage plans, and other related drawings for civil and building works projects.
5. Quality Assurance: Review drawings for technical accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project specifications and standards. Ensure that drawings are clear, understandable, and actionable by site teams and stakeholders.
6. Document Management: Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all drawings, revisions, and related documents. Ensure proper version control and archiving of project files.
7. Software Utilization: Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant software tools to create and modify plans, profiles, sections, and other project documentation.
8. Standards Compliance: Ensure that all drawings comply with local building codes, industry standards, and client specifications.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Draftsman in the Civil Engineering field.

Technical Skills:

1. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
2. Familiarity with other software like MS Office Suite.
3. Understanding of civil engineering concepts, topography, and land surveying.
4. Knowledge of building works, including structural elements, utilities, and site development.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
