Civil Draftsman

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, MicroStation, or other drafting software.
• Prepare civil, structural, and architectural drawings for oil & gas projects including foundations, pipelines, roads, and plant layouts.
• Interpret and translate engineering sketches, designs, and specifications into technical drawings.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and project requirements (such as ADNOC, Aramco, or other regulatory standards).
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and other disciplines to ensure accurate and efficient design.
• Revise and update drawings as required based on feedback from engineers and construction teams.
• Maintain document control for all drawings and ensure proper versioning and approval.
• Assist in preparing material takeoffs (MTOs) and construction documentation.
• Support site teams by providing as-built drawings after project completion.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and other drafting software.
• Experience in oil & gas industry projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of civil and structural engineering principles, especially for oil & gas infrastructure.
• Familiarity with international codes and standards (API, ASTM, ACI, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
