Stantec is currently looking for a Civil Engineer to work on projects associated with wet infrastructure, i.e., wastewater, stormwater, potable water, recycled water systems, water and wastewater treatment systems, and flood management and water resources management studies.
This role involves undertaking field visits, investigations, data collection, planning, hydraulic modeling, master planning, design development, report writing, preparation of tender documents, technical specifications, and BOQs.
Key responsibilities include:
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from a recognized university
2+ years of experience in master planning and design of large scale wet infrastructure
Working knowledge of engineering software such as AutoCAD, ArcGIS, InfoWater, InfoSewer, WaterGems, SewerGems, InfoWorks ICM, InfoWorks WS, etc.
Excellent command of English, both written and spoken; Arabic language skills preferred
Ability to manage a heavy workload, with close attention to detail
Ability to make decisions independently and strong problem resolution skills
Strong team working capabilities, committed to working with all levels of management on a daily and ongoing basis
Punctual, attentive, and competent in adhering to Stantec’s policies, procedures, and work practices
Work towards obtaining professional accreditation (Chartership/PE or equivalent) from internationally recognized engineering institutions such as ICE, CIWEM, Engineer Australia, etc.
