Civil Design Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a Lead Design Civil Engineer with extensive experience in EPC projects within the oil and gas industry. This role involves leading civil design efforts, managing a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee civil design activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and industry regulations.
• Coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical, and other engineering teams for integrated design solutions.
• Manage design schedules and resources to meet project timelines and budget.
• Review and approve design documentation, including drawings, calculations, and reports.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to resolve design challenges.
• Ensure designs are cost-effective, sustainable, and optimized for constructability.
• Conduct site surveys and inspections to validate design assumptions.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree is a plus).
• 15 years of experience in civil design for oil and gas EPC projects.
• Proficiency in civil design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD Pro).
• In-depth knowledge of design codes and standards (e.g., AISC, ACI, BS).
• Strong project management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience in the UAE or GCC region
