Civil Cost Control Engineer

We are a diversified Main Contractor hiring a Civil Cost Control Engineer

Job Function:

• Transform tender estimates into detailed project budgets using the CCS Candy software and CSI coding system.
• Monitor quantities and costs daily, ensuring adherence to the approved budget and cost control policies for all project requisitions and expenses.
• Manage variation orders by integrating approved changes into the project budget.
• Prepare and check job budget sheets, revising budgets in response to new or revised drawings.
• Conduct monthly cost analysis reports using Earned Value Analysis (EVA) and evaluate cost at completion trends.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Accounts, Site QS, Planning, and Engineering, to gather data for comprehensive cost analysis.
• Maintain accurate records of actual cost elements (staff, materials, subcontractors, etc.) for project close-out reports.
• Monitor and report on project status, highlighting significant savings or losses to management.
• Prepare regular reports and updates on budget revisions and variation order implications.
• Ensure proper maintenance of all job files, including revised budgets, contracts, and drawings.
• Assist in preparing detailed contractual letters and documentation as required by project specifications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 10 years’ of Experience in Contracting company in the UAE
• Expert in Candy and Plan Swift
• Numerical and data analysis skills
• Ability to work well under pressure.
