About the Role We are hiring on behalf of our client for a Chinese Pastry Chef position in Dubai. As the Head Chef of the pastry section, you will be responsible for crafting authentic and innovative Chinese pastries, maintaining high-quality standards, and ensuring exceptional presentation and taste. Key Responsibilities
Prepare and design a variety of Chinese pastries and bakery items using both traditional and modern techniques
Maintain the highest standards of food preparation, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness
Innovate and introduce new pastry recipes to enhance the menu offerings
Oversee pastry production, ensuring quality control and consistency
Manage kitchen operations and collaborate with the team to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow
Qualifications and Requirements
Proven experience specializing in Chinese pastry and bakery techniques
Strong creativity and ability to craft visually appealing and delicious pastries
Leadership experience in a pastry kitchen is preferred
Excellent communication and team management skills
