Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

We are seeking an experienced Chief Technology Officer to lead the technology vision of a rapidly growing scale-up. This Series B funded company is looking for someone who can balance strategic leadership with practical, development-focused responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong developer background and experience in modern architectures, particularly in Kubernetes and Microservices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the technology strategy, working closely with the executive team to ensure alignment with business goals
2. Contribute hands-on to development, with 20 percent of the role focused on building and scaling the technical environment
3. Oversee the implementation of a scalable infrastructure using Kubernetes and Microservices
4. Drive architecture and system design to support long-term growth and innovation
5. Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing technology team
6. Manage technical risk, security, and ensure the stability of infrastructure as the company scales
7. Continuously innovate by adopting emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantage

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a CTO or senior technology leader in a scale-up environment
2. Strong development background with hands-on experience in modern programming languages and frameworks
3. Expertise in Kubernetes, Microservices, and cloud-based infrastructures (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
4. Success in building and scaling technical environments in a fast-growing company
5. Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and guide technical teams
6. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
