Role Overview:

As the CTO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s technology vision and strategy, ensuring that our systems, processes, and infrastructure are aligned with our business goals. With a focus on EPOS systems, SAP, and agile methodologies, you will lead the digital transformation of our retail operations, driving innovation, scalability, and operational excellence across the organization. This is a key leadership position, requiring a forward-thinking technology expert who can bring best-in-class solutions to a fast-paced, multinational retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technology Strategy: Define and implement a comprehensive technology strategy that supports the company’s business objectives and enhances operational efficiency across all retail locations.
• EPOS Systems Leadership: Oversee the development, implementation, and optimization of advanced EPOS (Electronic Point of Sale) systems to improve customer experiences and streamline in-store operations.
• SAP Integration: Ensure the effective deployment and ongoing management of SAP systems, integrating them seamlessly with other business functions to drive operational excellence.
• Agile and Lean Methodologies: Champion agile and lean technology processes across the organization, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and rapid iteration to meet the evolving needs of the business.
• Digital Transformation: Lead the digital transformation initiatives, ensuring that technology solutions are future-proof, scalable, and aligned with the company’s long-term growth strategy.
• Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing technology team, promoting a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and excellence.
• Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to ensure technology investments align with business priorities. Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
• Cybersecurity and Compliance: Ensure robust security measures and compliance with industry standards, protecting the organization’s data, systems, and customer information from potential risks.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a proven track record in managing EPOS systems, SAP, and digital transformation projects within the retail sector.
• Retail Industry Expertise: In-depth understanding of the retail industry, including customer experience, supply chain, and operational efficiency, with a focus on leveraging technology to drive business growth.
• EPOS and SAP Proficiency: Expertise in the design, implementation, and management of EPOS systems and SAP solutions, with the ability to integrate them effectively into existing business processes.
• Agile Leadership: Strong experience in leading agile and lean technology organizations, with a focus on iterative development, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute a technology roadmap that aligns with the company’s business goals, ensuring scalability, innovation, and cost-efficiency.
• Leadership Skills: Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and mentor a diverse team of technology professionals.
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to drive alignment on technology initiatives.
• Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in Agile, SAP, or technology management are highly desirable.
