Chief Technology Advisor (AI)

Job Description

1. Lead the technical vision and strategy for AI (GenAI) platform development.
2. Build, mentor, and lead a team of engineers and technical leaders, promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
3. Provide high-level advisory on AI technologies, architectures, and platforms to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
4. Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle of large scale customer facing platforms, ensuring successful deployment and scalability.
5. Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to align technical capabilities with strategic goals and market needs.
6. Advise on cutting-edge trends and technologies, bringing in innovative ideas and solutions to propel product development.
7. Ensure the technical roadmap is aligned with business objectives and market demands, while maintaining agility and scalability.
8. Leverage your expertise to build and deliver AI solutions that have real-world impact in industries ranging from healthcare, finance, and beyond.
9. Provide thought leadership both internally and externally, establishing the entity as a leader in the GenAI space.

The Successful Applicant

1. Extensive experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of success in leadership roles such as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), VP of Engineering, or equivalent.
2. Demonstrated experience building Generative AI (GenAI) products from scratch, including architecture design, development, and scaling.
3. Strong understanding of AI technologies, platforms, and frameworks, with deep expertise in generative models, NLP, and machine learning.
4. Proven ability to lead and inspire engineering teams, fostering an environment of innovation and high performance.
5. Hands-on experience in designing and delivering scalable AI products in fast-paced environments.
6. Prior consulting experience from a top-tier consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Accenture, etc.) is highly advantageous.
7. Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
8. Strategic mindset with the ability to balance technical excellence with business acumen.
9. Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field preferred.
