Chief Product Officer

Overview

Oxinus is an Abu Dhabi-based technology group that develops high-end digital, software, and hardware products for consumers, businesses, and enterprises. As Chief Product Officer, you will be at the helm of driving the product operations and continuous improvement of our apps and information systems. You will ensure that the product evolves to meet market needs, technological advances, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and execution of all our applications.
• Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation through to launch and ongoing optimization. Ensure the product achieves product-market fit and sustainable growth for both existing and planned functionalities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, business development, and legal departments, to ensure seamless integration with utility, transportation, financial, and social service providers.
• Feature Development & Integration: Identify and prioritize opportunities for new features, product enhancements, and integration with external services, including financial transactions, e-government services, and third-party APIs.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive product improvements based on user feedback, data insights, and evolving needs.
• Regulatory Compliance & Security: Ensure the product remains compliant with financial services regulations and security requirements, particularly for transactions involving highly sensitive information.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to align product development, driving revenue generation and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Technical Expertise

• Mobile App Development: Strong understanding of mobile app development, including both front-end and back-end integrations.
• Payment Gateway & API Integrations: Proven experience with payment gateway integrations and APIs, particularly in financial services or mobile payments.
• E-Government & Social Services: Familiarity with e-government and social services infrastructure, especially in emerging markets.
• System Management: Experience managing systems that integrate utility payments, transport services, and document storage into a unified platform.
• Security Awareness: Deep understanding of security needs for platforms handling sensitive information, particularly in digital financial transactions.

Industry Knowledge

• Financial Services: Extensive knowledge of financial services, mobile wallets, payments systems, and digital transactions.
• Public Sector Transformation: Experience with digital transformation in the public sector or financial inclusion initiatives.

Product Management

• Experience: 12+ years of product management experience, specifically in mobile apps or financial services products, with a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions.
• Data-Driven Approach: Strong business acumen with experience in data analysis, able to translate customer insights into actionable product improvements.
• Prioritization: Ability to prioritize product features, balancing user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical and business concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead product teams and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, business, and legal teams.
• Mentorship: Experience managing and mentoring junior product managers, engineers, and designers.
• Dynamic Work Environment: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with experience managing competing priorities.
• Organizational Skills: Highly organized and structured, with fluency in using available tools to keep all stakeholders updated on the product roadmap, milestones, and blockers.
