Our partner is dynamic and fast-growing sports agency based in Dubai, specialising in representing elite athletes and sports professionals. They are looking for an experienced and strategic Chief People Officer (CPO) to lead their human resources function and ensure the people strategy supports their ambitious growth.

Role Overview:
The Chief People Officer (CPO) will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive HR strategy that aligns with the agency’s business goals and values. As a key member of the executive team, the CPO will oversee all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, culture development, and organisational design. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR leadership, ideally within the sports, entertainment, or agency sectors, and a passion for creating a dynamic and inclusive workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • People Strategy Development: Design and implement a people strategy that supports the agency’s growth objectives, fosters a positive and inclusive culture, and aligns with the company’s mission and values.
  • Talent Acquisition & Retention: Lead the recruitment and retention of top talent across the organisation, ensuring the agency attracts individuals who are not only skilled but also aligned with the company’s culture and vision.
  • Employee Engagement & Culture: Develop initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and overall well-being. Cultivate a work environment that is collaborative, high-performing, and aligned with the needs of a fast-paced agency.
  • Learning & Development: Oversee the creation and delivery of learning and development programmes that support employee growth, skill enhancement, and career progression within the agency.
  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI): Champion DEI initiatives across the organisation, ensuring a diverse workforce and an inclusive culture where all employees feel valued and supported.
  • Performance Management: Develop and manage performance management processes that encourage continuous feedback, recognise excellence, and address areas for improvement.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Oversee the design and management of competitive compensation and benefits programmes that attract and retain top talent while ensuring equity and transparency.
  • Organisational Development: Lead efforts in organisational design, succession planning, and change management to ensure the agency is structured for success and able to adapt to evolving business needs.
  • HR Operations & Compliance: Ensure the smooth operation of HR functions, including payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS management. Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Leadership Development: Work closely with senior leaders to identify and develop future leaders within the organisation. Provide coaching and mentoring to enhance leadership capabilities.
  • Employee Relations: Manage employee relations with a focus on fairness, transparency, and the resolution of issues in a manner that supports both the employees and the agency.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Extensive experience in HR leadership roles, ideally as a Chief People Officer, HR Director, or similar, within the sports, entertainment, or agency sectors.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies that drive business results and support organisational growth.
  • Strong expertise in talent acquisition, employee engagement, culture development, and diversity and inclusion.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align HR initiatives with business goals and navigate the unique challenges of a boutique agency environment.
  • Strong understanding of employment law, HR best practices, and industry trends.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Experience in leading organisational change and managing HR operations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CIPD) are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED55,000.00 per month
