Chief Operating Officer

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and oversee key operational functions within our FMCG business, including Sales, Supply Chain, Production, and Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving efficiency, productivity, and profitability while ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

• Oversee day-to-day operations across Sales, Supply Chain, Production, and Manufacturing functions to ensure smooth workflows and alignment with business objectives.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, optimize resources, and reduce operational costs.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards across all operational units.

Sales and Revenue Growth

• Collaborate with the sales team to set ambitious revenue targets and design strategies to achieve them.
• Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive dynamics to identify growth opportunities.
• Drive execution of sales plans while maintaining strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

Supply Chain Management

• Lead supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, and distribution, to ensure seamless product availability and delivery.
• Optimize supply chain processes to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and mitigate risks.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate supply chain performance.

Production and Manufacturing Oversight

• Manage the production and manufacturing units to ensure high-quality products are delivered on time.
• Drive process improvements and implement best practices to enhance production efficiency and capacity.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Strategic Planning and Execution

• Work closely with the CEO and leadership team to develop and execute the company’s strategic plan.
• Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making and long-term planning.
• Monitor and report on the performance of operational functions, identifying areas for improvement.

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
• Build a high-performing team by identifying talent gaps and implementing training and development initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience: Minimum 10+ years of leadership experience in operations within the FMCG industry, with a proven track record in sales, supply chain, and production management.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to drive performance and motivate teams.
• Analytical Skills: Proficient in data analysis, forecasting, and performance measurement.
• Strategic Vision: Ability to think strategically while executing tactically to achieve business goals.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication: Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with ERP systems and other business software.
