Job description

Rashmi Metaliks is seeking a highly motivated Sales Engineer to drive the sales and market expansion of Ductile Iron (DI), Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP), High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), and Oriented Polyvinyl Chloride (OPVC) pipes in the UAE.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies, managing key client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities within the infrastructure, water supply, and industrial sectors.

This role requires a strong technical understanding of piping systems, excellent sales acumen, and a proven track record in building and maintaining client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets for DI, GRP, HDPE, and OPVC pipes.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the UAE infrastructure, water supply, and industrial markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, municipalities, government bodies, and industrial clients.
  • Understand client requirements and provide technical solutions tailored to their needs.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms while ensuring profitability and compliance.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and potential business growth areas.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (technical, marketing, logistics, and customer service) to ensure seamless product delivery and customer support.
  • Provide sales forecasts, reports, and insights on market conditions.
  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to promote the company’s products and expand market reach.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in DI, GRP, HDPE, or OPVC pipes within the UAE market.
  • Strong understanding of pipe specifications, applications, and benefits in water infrastructure, construction, and industrial projects.

Additional Information:

  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends, develop strategies, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to travel within the UAE for client meetings and industry events.
