Chief Investment Strategist – Global Multi Asset Investor – Dubai, UAE

Our client, a leading global investor, is looking to hire a senior investment strategist to develop and implement strategies across multiple asset classes. This professional would be required to determine optimal asset allocation across equities, fixed income, alternatives, real assets, and other investment vehicles. You would have full ownership of the investment strategy while reporting into the CEO and investment committee. Years of experience: 15+

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the asset allocation strategy across multiple asset classes and geographies.
• Manage the existing portfolio, including trading and re-balancing of portfolios.
• Conduct in-depth due diligence on investment opportunities, including manager selection and monitoring.
• Implement comprehensive risk management strategy by conducting market research and analysis across market trends and economic indicators affecting the investment portfolio and investment decisions.
• Establish performance reporting metrics and implement a system to seamlessly measure portfolio performance.

Key Requirements:

• 15-20 years of experience gained working with institutional investors such as pension funds, endowments, and insurance firms in a role focused on macro investment strategy.
• Extensive exposure to all asset classes and geographies.
• Strong financial modelling and quantitative abilities.
• In-depth understanding of global financial markets, investment principles, asset allocation strategies, and risk management techniques.
• Leadership capabilities gained while managing a small to medium-sized team to still be able to be hands-on.
