Chief Financial Officer - (CFO) with German language proficiency.

For one of our customers, a Dubai-based company in the real estate tech sector, we are hiring a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with German language proficiency.

To provide strategic financial leadership and management, ensuring the financial health and growth of the company through effective budgeting, financial planning, and risk management; ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements while optimizing capital structure and driving profitability.

Outcomes:

1. Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy that supports the company's growth and global expansion goals, ensuring a minimum of 15% annual revenue growth.
2. Budgeting & Forecasting: Deliver monthly forecasts report to executive team and maintain variance of less than 10% between forecasts and actual performance.
3. Capital Structure Optimization: Lower cost of capital by at least 5% within the first year.
4. Profitability Management: Ensure EBITDA margins are improved by at least 10% year-over-year.
5. Cash Flow Management: Maintain at least 6 months of operational liquidity at all times and deliver & maintain cashflow risk-management & continuity plan within first month of each book year.
6. Compliance & Reporting: Ensure 100% compliance with all financial audits by end of Q1 of each book year.
7. Risk Management: Deliver & maintain overall financial risk-management & continuity/mitigation plan within first month of each book year.
8. Team Leadership & Development: Build and lead an A-player finance team, ensuring 90% retention of top finance talent, and deliver internal succession plans for key finance roles every 6 months.

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree or relevant certifications (CPA, CFA) is preferred.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 5 years in a senior financial leadership position such as CFO, Finance Director, or equivalent.
3. Proven ability to align financial strategies with overall business objectives.
4. Expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and leveraging financial data.
5. Strong capability to identify financial risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
6. Demonstrated experience in securing funding and managing investor relationships.
7. In-depth understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
8. Proven ability to drive cost-saving initiatives and enhance operational efficiencies.
9. Strong leadership skills to build, mentor, and retain a high-performing finance team.
10. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
11. Familiarity with financial software and tools.
12. Proficiency in English; fluency in additional languages, especially German, is a plus.
