Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification to lead our finance department. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in delivering accounting outsourcing services to clients and supporting our company’s internal financial requirements. This role is essential for ensuring precise financial reporting, adherence to UAE regulations, and driving financial efficiency and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Leadership and Strategy:
   • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s business objectives.
   • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.
   • Collaborate with senior management to shape financial policies and contribute to strategic decision-making.
2. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
   • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and management reports.
   • Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with IFRS and UAE accounting standards.
   • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, providing insights to support business growth.
3. Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management:
   • Ensure adherence to UAE financial regulations, including VAT and other tax obligations.
   • Lead the implementation of internal controls and ensure the financial integrity of the organization.
   • Oversee audits and work with external auditors to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
4. Accounting Outsourcing Services:
   • Manage the delivery of accounting outsourcing services for clients, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with service level agreements.
   • Develop client relationships by providing tailored financial solutions and acting as a trusted advisor.
   • Continuously optimize outsourcing services to enhance client satisfaction and operational effectiveness.
5. Financial Operations and Process Improvement:
   • Streamline financial processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
   • Oversee treasury functions, cash flow management, and funding strategies.
   • Implement best practices in financial management, fostering continuous improvement within the finance department.
6. Team Leadership and Development:
   • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
   • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training to support team growth and development.
   • Promote cross-functional collaboration to drive a cohesive and supportive working environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Prior experience as a CFO or senior finance role, preferably with experience in accounting outsourcing services.
• Proven experience in financial management, strategic planning, budgeting, and compliance within the UAE.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and other regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
