Chief Financial Officer

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee the overall performance of sub departments like Budget, Finance and Accounts.
2. Maintain all bank accounts of the company(s).
3. Design and implement Financial policies including Budget heads, remuneration, allowances, privileges, benefits, welfare as per the pay scales and job descriptions in consultation with VP Admin (HR).
4. Prepare Annual Budget in consultation/conjunction with other departments of the company.
5. Constantly monitor budgetary expenditures of the company.
6. Carry out internal audit of the company annually and assist in External Audit by third party on occurrence.
7. Work closely with other VPs/GMs and Line Managers for better coordination and smooth/judicious utilization of budget.
8. Advise CEO/BOD for measures on cost cutting in monthly expenditures.
9. Carry out constant Cost Benefit Analysis.
10. Carry out costing/Revenue as per the projects.
11. Manage and keep track of all taxes and fees admissible under UAE FTA rules to avoid penalties.
12. Keep constant track on recoveries and payments.
13. Keep a close liaison with customers and client finance department.
14. Manage performance of subordinate Managers/ Departments.
15. Vet all contracts/agreements concluded by Sales/Marketing Department and keep record.
16. Ensure and maintain security of information.
17. Other duties as deemed necessary.
18. Avoid indulging in any personal business/job taking advantage of the current position held in ASC.

Desired Candidate Profile:

1. Qualification/Education: Candidate must possess at least MBA or CA, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, in Finance / Accounting.
2. Work Experience:
1. At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field preferably in an Aviation industry or large multinational organisation with minimum 50-100 employees is required for this position.
2. Must have experience in budgeting, financial management, accounting, reporting and formulating/implementing financial policies.
3. Must be conversant with the Taxation System of UAE.
