Job Description:

The CFO will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations, strategy, and planning. This role requires a visionary leader with deep experience in financial management, strategic planning, and capital allocation in a fast-paced startup environment - the individual must have prior experience in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and operational goals.
2. Oversee all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities.
3. Manage financial risks and ensure the company’s financial health through effective risk management and control measures.
4. Lead fundraising efforts, including identifying potential investors, preparing pitch materials, and negotiating terms.
5. Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and adapt strategies accordingly.
6. Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and executive team to guide business decisions.
7. Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial management role, preferably in a fintech startup.
2. Strong understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.
3. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
5. Relevant finance or accounting degree (CPA, CFA, or equivalent preferred).
