Strategy Development & Implementation Design and execute the strategy for the bank's wealth management offering, aligning with the institution's broader goals and market positioning. Build a comprehensive wealth management platform encompassing real estate, public/private market products, and other bespoke investment solutions.
Business Establishment & Growth Lead the establishment of the wealth management division, including setting up operational frameworks, systems, and processes. Develop a robust product suite that caters to UHNWIs, family offices, and institutional investors. Identify and secure partnerships with global and regional asset managers, banks, and other investment service providers.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management Cultivate and manage relationships with UHNWIs, family offices, and institutional investors, leveraging an existing network of connections. Act as the face of the wealth management division, offering tailored solutions to meet the specific needs of high-value clients.
Asset Allocation & Portfolio Management Oversee the allocation of the bank's existing assets and manage third-party assets in collaboration with the investment banking division. Ensure optimal asset allocation strategies that align with client needs, market opportunities, and the division's long-term growth objectives.
Regional Leadership & Market Expansion Establish and grow the division's presence across Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia, dedicating significant time to each market. Leverage a deep understanding of the region's cultural and business practices to build trust and credibility among key stakeholders.
Operational Excellence & Team Leadership Recruit and develop a high-performing team of wealth management professionals. Ensure operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and best-in-class risk management practices. Foster a collaborative, innovative, and results-driven culture within the division.
Key Qualifications:
Experience: 15+ years of leadership experience in wealth management, asset management, or investment banking, with expertise in building and scaling new businesses.
Expertise: Strong background in asset allocation, real estate investments, and structuring products for UHNWIs and family offices.
Network: Established relationships with wealth management clients, institutional investors, and asset managers globally, with a focus on the GCC region.
Language & Cultural Fluency: Fluent in Arabic and English, with a deep understanding of the Middle Eastern market and cultural nuances.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams and drive strategic initiatives at the executive level.
Regional Familiarity: Experience working in or with clients across Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia is essential.
Location & Travel Requirements: Based in Abu Dhabi, with regular travel around the GCC
