Jobtrack Management Services is seeking a highly skilled Chief Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for providing accurate and detailed estimates for construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
Project Cost Estimation: Determine the total cost of materials, equipment, utilities, and labor for construction projects.
Document Research and Analysis: Research construction documents and analyze specifications to ensure accurate estimates.
Estimate Preparation: Prepare estimates for planning, organizing, and scheduling project work, including managing pre-qualification and pre-bid submissions.
Contingency Planning: Formulate contingency plans and effectively manage risks that might impact cost and time estimates.
Communication and Reporting: Regularly report to Management and keep clients updated on project status.
Industry Knowledge: Keep track of the latest estimating technology and industry-related techniques.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams, conduct site visits, and provide other services as required.
Requirements
Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex construction documents and specifications.
Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with clients, Management, and other team members.
Attention to Detail: Ability to ensure accuracy and attention to detail in estimates and reports.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the latest estimating technology and industry-related techniques.
