A proven track record in a 4-5 star Hotel or Resort environment with at least 3-4 years of experience in a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering role in UAE.

Requirements:

1. College degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
2. Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English (Additional languages, especially Arabic is a Plus)
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, leveraging strong verbal and written skills to express Departmental Goals and Ultimately Produce desired results.
4. Organizational and Leadership skills
5. Time Management and Multi-Tasking skills to deliver a timely action, even under pressure.
6. A hands-on attitude, backed by Yes, I can! Spirit.
7. Strong negotiations skills
8. Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with Owning company, General Manager and Project Managers.
9. Familiar with the local government requirements and regulations
10. Flexible Work Attitude
11. Must be quality focused in all aspects of their work-related duties.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):

1. Provides and maintains high Standard of Property Maintenance, demonstrating both reactive and preventive knowledge.
2. Maintains the Building, Grounds and Plant Equipment with particular attention to Safety, Security and Asset protection
3. Develops and Implements Strategies to deliver services, that exceed the expectations of Guests and Stakeholders while maximizing financial performance.
4. Ensures all work follows Strict Adherence to Safe Work Practices and Procedures, prioritizing the well-being and security of all involved.
5. Leads the Emergency Response Team for all facility issues, demonstrating a remarkable ability to Perform Under Pressure.
6. Develops and manages the Engineering Budget, ensuring integration of Departmental Goals in daily plans.
7. Highlights areas of concern to the Leadership Team and takes ownership till the matter is resolved.
8. Manages the physical plant including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, boilers and electrical systems and any other building services per hotel's Standard Operating Procedures.
9. Demonstrates leadership in implementing Sustainability Initiatives with focus on guest experience
10. Takes responsibility for all work executed, by own or external contractors, on the building, plants or technical installations.
