Company Overview:

Our client is a renowned lifestyle developer and investment firm headquartered in Ras Al Khaimah. The group is dedicated to shaping premier lifestyle communities while expanding its portfolio across hospitality, retail, real estate, and related sectors.

They are looking to add to their team a driven Chief Development Officer (CDO) within their Projects Department. The job holder will be reporting directly to the Group CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, in conjunction with the Project Sponsor, a comprehensive definition of the project.
• Ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and meets quality standards as per agreed specifications.
• Effectively resource and manage relationships with all project contributors and stakeholders.
• Oversee the work of consultants, allocate and utilize resources efficiently, and maintain a cooperative and motivated team.
• Manage and lead the project team, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and objectives.
• Recruit project staff and consultants, ensuring a high-performing workforce.
• Coordinate with partners and working groups involved in project execution.
• Oversee detailed project planning and control, including:
• Developing and maintaining a detailed project plan.
• Managing project deliverables in line with the project plan.
• Recording and managing project issues, escalating when necessary.
• Resolving cross-functional issues at the project level.
• Managing project scope and change control, escalating issues as needed.
• Monitoring project progress and performance.
• Providing status reports to the Project Sponsor.
• Manage project training within the allocated budget.
• Update senior management and project boards on progress.
• Conduct project evaluation and dissemination activities.
• Manage consultancy input within the defined budget.
• Provide final approval of design specifications.
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure projects align with business needs.

Key Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction, or Architecture (preferred).
• 15+ years of experience in direct management of large, complex real estate projects.
• Strong Communication and Presentation Skills.
• Outstanding Interpersonal and Leadership Skills.
• Proven ability to drive results and initiatives.
• Creativity and Innovation in project planning and execution.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
