A Chief Concierge manages the concierge team to provide assistance and information about local area attractions to guests and patrons, offering a wide selection of choices and alternatives to ensure guest satisfaction. Organization and control processes in the area of Concierge, hotel entrance, and luggage storage are essential. Exceed guests’ expectations by delivering high-quality service while ensuring cost-effective use of resources and practical implementation of corporate and operating targets.


What will I be doing?

As a Chief Concierge, you will supervise the Concierge Team and set departmental goals to help team members create an exceptional guest and customer experience. A Chief Concierge is responsible for managing the first impressions of our guests and, therefore, must perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Supervise daily Concierge operations
  • Set departmental objectives, work schedules, budgets, policies, and procedures
  • Responsible for the monthly accruals for valet parking and transportation services
  • Monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of the Concierge Team Members with an emphasis on training and teamwork
  • Ensure Team Members have current knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing, and policies as well as a good knowledge of the local area
  • Welcome and provide fond farewells to guests, providing information, advice, and accompanying guests
  • Maintain good communication and working relationships with all hotel areas
  • Project a professional manner with an emphasis on hospitality and guest services

  • A degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent

  • Prior experience in the same position
