Job Description for Chief Engineer at HALCON

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Engineer to join our team at HALCON. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of complex engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Technical Expertise: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
2. Project Management: Manage and coordinate multiple engineering projects simultaneously, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
3. Technical Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest engineering technologies and trends, and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within the company.
4. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure that engineering projects are aligned with business objectives and customer needs.

Requirements:

1. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Operations Research, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
2. Preferred Qualifications: Master's or Ph.D. in Operations Research, Engineering, or a related field, with 15+ years of experience in the defense or aerospace industry, and published research in the field of Operations Research or related disciplines.
