Chief Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Chief Accountant to oversee and manage the financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in corporate accounting and possess expertise in the following areas:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting Systems & Reporting:
   Expert in Zoho Books and Excel reporting tools.
2. Financial Operations:
   Manage accounts payable and ensure efficient handling of transactions.
   Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and detailed review.
3. Monthly and Group Accounting:
   Oversee the monthly closing of books.
   Handle consolidation of accounts for group companies.
   Perform intercompany reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
4. Audit Support:
   Prepare schedules and assist auditors during internal and external audits.
5. Tax Compliance:
   Ensure accurate VAT filing and compliance with UAE corporate tax regulations.
6. Hospitality Industry Experience (Preferred):
   Candidates with hospitality industry experience will be given preference though this is not mandatory.

Requirements

1. Experience: 8 to 10 years in corporate-level accounting.
2. Technical Skills: Proficient in Zoho Books, Microsoft Excel, and accounting best practices.
3. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with UAE VAT and corporate tax laws.
4. Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or CA Chartered Accountant.
5. Other Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
