We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Chemical Engineer with expertise in Hydrometallurgy, Green Chemistry, Extraction, Metal Recovery, Material Separation, Industrial System, and Process Development. The goal is to develop initiatives to improve the chemical processing of recycled battery materials to the highest purity and quality and enable remanufacturing of batteries. Tasks include improving recycling performance, recovering high-quality products, investigating reuse opportunities, and developing upcycling technologies. Further, the tasks also include developing innovative chemical processes for next-generation battery compounds.
Project and product management in chemical fields, focusing on material recovery, purification, crystallization, and Hydrometallurgy.
Bachelor's/Master's in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in chemical process designing, batch processing, balance calculations, chemical process safety, device, and material selection. 2+ years of process and laboratory knowledge in material and metal recovery from aqueous or organic solutions. Proven experience in Hydrometallurgy, battery materials, and recycling strategies. Knowledge of battery materials, testing, and repurposing. Familiarity with Lithium-ion battery functionality, implemented materials, critical raw materials, electrochemistry. Familiar with Agile work methodologies and tools. Strong analytical thinking, self-driven, and high decision-making skills. Proficient in written and spoken English.
