We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef de Partie specializing in Arabic cuisine to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing authentic Arabic dishes, maintaining high-quality standards, and contributing to the overall success of our culinary operations.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of Arabic dishes ensuring authenticity and quality
Manage a specific section of the kitchen overseeing junior staff and daily operations
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
Assist in menu planning and development of new Arabic dishes
Collaborate with other chefs to maintain kitchen efficiency and productivity
Monitor and maintain adequate inventory levels for your station
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in Arabic cuisine techniques
Assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chef as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role
Proven expertise in Arabic cuisine and Middle Eastern cooking techniques
Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Excellent knife skills and proficiency in kitchen equipment operation
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
Strong time management and organizational skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Food safety certification
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
