Chartering Manager

Responsibilities

1. Identify and pursue chartering opportunities to maximize vessel utilization and revenue.
2. Negotiate and manage charter contracts with clients and suppliers.
3. Monitor market trends and changes in freight rates to optimize chartering operations.
4. Coordinate vessel schedules to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods.
5. Collaborate with internal departments, such as operations and finance, to streamline chartering processes.
6. Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, including customs and safety requirements.
7. Build and maintain relationships with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders in the shipping industry.
8. Conduct market research to identify potential new business opportunities.
