Job Title: Chartered Accountant - Advertising & Media Signage Industry

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Accountant to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the Advertising & Media Signage industry, demonstrating expertise in a broad range of financial functions. This role demands an individual with strong analytical skills, strategic insight, and the ability to drive financial performance across various aspects of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Finance and Accounting Function:
2. Oversee all finance and accounting operations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
3. Manage day-to-day financial transactions, reconciliations, and reporting.
4. Develop and execute financial strategies and controls.
5. Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses to guide business decisions.
6. Generate and review financial reports, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
7. Build and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
8. Internal & External Audit:
9. Coordinate and manage internal and external audit processes.
10. Ensure timely and accurate responses to audit findings and recommendations.
11. Knowledge of IFRS:
12. Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in all financial reporting and documentation.
13. Budgeting & Variance Analysis:
14. Lead the budgeting process, including preparation and monitoring.
15. Perform variance analysis to identify and address discrepancies.
16. Cost Control Strategies:
17. Develop and implement cost control measures to optimize financial performance.
18. Monitor and analyze cost trends and recommend corrective actions.
19. Treasury Management:
20. Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and investment strategies.
21. Oversee treasury functions to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
22. Due Diligence & Feasibility Studies:
23. Conduct due diligence for business development opportunities and strategic initiatives.
24. Perform feasibility studies to assess the viability of potential projects and investments.
25. Regulatory Compliance:
26. Ensure adherence to local and international regulatory requirements.
27. Manage compliance with VAT, corporate taxation, and Economic Substance Regulation reporting.

Skills & Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional qualification (CA qualified only) preferred.
2. Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in finance and accounting within the Advertising & Media Signage industry. International accounting exposure is advantageous.
3. Knowledge: In-depth understanding of IFRS, financial planning, budgeting, variance analysis, and cost control strategies.

8. Effective problem-solving and crisis management skills.
9. Skilled in bank liaison, negotiations, and stakeholder management.
