Seeking a highly ethical and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team. This would be the perfect opportunity for a recently retired CFO or COO looking for a flexible position. The person will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of the family office, providing strategic financial guidance to the family members, and involvement in the long-term financial health and sustainability of the family’s wealth. The person holding this position will have one direct report, the company’s controller.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred. Proven experience as a CFO or COO or senior financial executive in a family office, wealth management firm, or similar environment. Strong understanding of investment management, financial planning, and tax strategies. Provide leadership skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with family members and their advisors. Possess analytical and problem-solving ability, with a keen attention to detail. Must be highly ethical, with integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling confidential financial information.
