Apple's worldwide communications team informs the world about our innovative products and services, and the values that drive everything we do. Areas of work include Public Relations, Corporate Events, Employee Communications, and Buzz Marketing. The team includes professionals with backgrounds in public relations, journalism, social media, writing, and buzz marketing. We’re looking for trailblazing, collaborative professionals from a variety of creative fields. We are currently seeking a Corporate PR Manager for our communications team in CEMEA (CEE, MEA, and Türkiye).

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading activities with media in the countries to manage the company’s corporate reputation in CEE, MEA, and Turkey and help communicate Apple’s contribution locally, focused on key areas such as our economic contribution, culture and education, customer privacy, and environmental leadership. The role requires an ability to think strategically and to execute activations with a high attention to detail. It also requires a proven ability to anticipate, manage, and mitigate PR issues, working closely with local and global teams.

Description

This position will be based in Dubai, with responsibility for key markets in the region - CEE, MEA, and Turkey. The successful candidate will report to the CEMEA PR Lead and be responsible for identifying and managing issues in a fast-paced environment and continuous news cycle. The successful candidate will lead strategic planning and execution and work collaboratively with the WW Coms team, regional Marketing, GA, and Legal to support and drive understanding of Apple’s values. Help to devise and execute global communications initiatives that resonate with the local audiences across the diverse region.

Minimum Qualifications

• You have extensive experience in media relations and have a proven track record of building and holding relationships with senior-level press, editors, and influencers.
• Demonstrable experience in PR, with exposure to corporate and consumer communications from agency and/or in-house background.
• Fluency in English required.

• Proven ability to understand business and policy challenges and formulate effective communications strategies that support the audience needs and business goals.
• Great experience working in a highly regulated environment and with government affairs, legal, and business governance teams.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and work on complex topics.
• Ability to create PR activations and deliver results by reaching mainstream audiences.
• Skilled in multi-tasking, delivering under tight timelines, and adapting quickly to change.
• Ability to travel regularly across the region and to the US will be required.
