Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Operator to join our Supply Chain team at Exotic Colors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering data related to purchase orders, vendors, quantities, and pricing into our systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity at all times. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining and updating records, logs, and supplier lists as required, while adhering to the company’s data management and confidentiality policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, compile, and sort documents for data entry.
  • Enter purchase order details into prescribed databases and files.
  • Verify data accuracy and correct errors when necessary.
  • Maintain logs and records of purchases, deliveries, and invoices.
  • Update supplier lists regularly as directed by the Procurement Officer.
  • Scan documents into the document management system as needed.
  • Retrieve and print information upon request.
  • Respond to data and file requests from internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with data integrity and security policies.
  • Perform additional administrative tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong typing skills with high accuracy.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
  • Familiarity with correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation in both Arabic and English.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive data appropriately.
  • Previous experience in data entry or clerical work is a plus.
  • Formal computer training is an advantage.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in UAE office work.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in inventory management or supply chain operations, preferably in retail, wholesale, or e-commerce.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems and inventory control software.
  • Experience creating interactive dashboards and data analysis using Power BI or similar tools.

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management best practices.
  • Familiarity with integrated systems (ERP & Inventory Management Systems).
  • Knowledge of demand forecasting and data analysis tools.
  • Experience with Zoho Inventory or similar ERP platforms (a plus).
