launched its consumer platform in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, expanding to Egypt in February

2019. The noon ecosystem of services now marketplaces for food delivery, quick commerce,

fintech, and fashion. noon is a work in progress; we're six years in, but only 5% done.

We are looking for an experienced Category Manager to lead and grow the Sports & Outdoor category in the UAE. This is a high-impact, high-pressure role with full P&L ownership, and we're seeking a candidate with the vision, skills, and drive to achieve exponential growth.

Key Responsibilities:

P&L Ownership:

• Own and manage the category's profit and loss statement.
• Develop strategies to maximize revenue, profitability, and market share.

Category Growth:

• Build and execute scalable strategies to grow the Sports & Outdoor category.
• Identify growth opportunities, analyze data trends, and act decisively to meet targets.

Vendor and Brand Management:

• Build and nurture relationships with key brands and suppliers.
• Negotiate competitive terms for pricing, inventory, and marketing support.

Sales and Marketing Strategy:

• Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to plan and execute category promotions and campaigns.
• Use insights from data analytics to identify customer preferences and optimize product assortment.

Operational Excellence:

• Ensure seamless execution of inventory management, pricing strategies, and product launches.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve operational efficiencies.

Team Collaboration:

• Work cross-functionally with supply chain, finance, and marketing teams to drive category goals.
• Foster a collaborative culture while maintaining accountability for results.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of overall experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing P&L in any category within the UAE.
• Experience in the Sports & Outdoor category is a bonus but not mandatory.
• Existing Brand relationships in Sports & Outdoor category are a bonus but not mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent command over numbers with the ability to analyze and act on data.
• Relentless focus on achieving sales and profitability targets.

• High resilience and readiness to work in a high-pressure, target-driven environment.
