Key Areas of Responsibilities

1. Provide the customers with fast, friendly, courteous and efficient service.
2. Inform the customers of daily specials.
3. Escort customers to their tables.
4. Greet and take the orders from customers.
5. Present menus to customers and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request.
6. Explain how various menus are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods.
7. Write customer’s food orders on order slips, memorize orders, or enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff.
8. Serve food and beverages accurately as per customers’ order.
9. Prepare itemized checks and accept payments as and when required.
10. Prepare tables for meals.
11. Collect payments by cash, credit cards, or debit cards.
