Job description

Job Title: Cashier

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Payment Processing & Invoicing:
    Prepare tax invoices and receipt vouchers after payment confirmation via cash, card, smart pay, etc.
    Collect payments (cash, checks, bank cards) and ensure proper posting in SAP.
    Process bank cheques through M/s. Transguard Security.
  2. Cash & Bank Reconciliation:
    Prepare daily cash collection reports, ensuring receipts match payments.
    Tally CDM deposit slips, credit card sales slips, and smart payment summaries daily.
    Deposit cash in the cash deposit machine before the scheduled time.
    Reconcile petty cash statements and ensure sufficient cash availability.
  3. Financial Documentation & Reporting:
    Circulate manual gate pass reports to the operations team.
    Prepare E-Dirham reimbursement reports with supporting documents and tally with bank SOA weekly.
    Maintain accurate records for showroom/workshop expenses and update SAP cash journal.
    Submit weekly documentation for sales deals, insurance debit/credit notes, and financial transactions to the Head Office.
  4. Audit & Compliance Support:
    Scan and upload supporting documents (LPOs, approvals, registration cards, work orders) for verification and audit purposes.
    Forward credit customer invoices and LPO copies to the bill collector for submission.
    Minimize fraud and errors by following cash transaction policies and procedures in the showroom/workshop.
    Assist in statutory and internal audits as required.
  5. Coordination & General Accounting Support:
    Maintain and reconcile cash drawer balances and issued receipts.
    Work closely with the HO accounts team for timely updates and corrections to financial records.
    Perform additional duties as assigned by the Accountant/Senior Accountant/Chief Accountant.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  2. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in cash handling, accounting, or financial transactions.
  3. Languages: English is essential; Arabic is preferred.
  4. Skills & Abilities: Proficiency in SAP, MS Office, and financial software. Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and compliance knowledge.
