Cashier

We are recruiting a Cashier for one of our clients based in Sharjah, UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Handle daily cashiering activities including receiving cash and cheques.
2. Ensure timely deposit of all matured cheques.
3. Manage the smooth processing of petty cash and float expenses.
4. Maintain precise records of financial transactions in ledgers or accounting software.
5. Encode and scan cheques accurately.
6. Verify customer credit transactions thoroughly.
7. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com) or an equivalent qualification in accounting or finance.
2. Proficiency in accounting software and financial tools.
3. Strong understanding of general accounting principles and practices.
4. Familiarity with bank reconciliations, cheque processing, and cash management.
5. Ability to analyze financial data and ensure accuracy in records.
6. Prior work experience in real estate or brokerage firms is preferred.
7. Must be an Arabic speaker.
8. Minimum of 1 year of experience in Sales Administration/Operations within a real estate company.
9. Experience with Sale and Purchase Agreements (SPA) is essential.
