Cashier

We are looking for a customer-friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to handle cash transactions, process payments, and provide excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should have strong numerical skills, accuracy in cash handling, and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process cash, credit card, and digital payments securely and efficiently.
• Issue receipts, refunds, and change accurately.
• Assist customers with pricing, discounts, and promotional offers.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Ensure pricing accuracy by scanning products correctly.
• Reconcile cash drawer balances at the end of the shift.
• Report any technical issues with the POS system to the supervisor.
• Follow loss prevention and security procedures to minimize risks.
• Assist with stock replenishment and basic store tasks when required.
• Provide excellent customer service and address inquiries professionally.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience as a Cashier or in retail sales (UAE experience preferred).
• Proficiency in POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash handling.
• Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and a friendly personality.
• Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
