Position Purpose

Key Accountabilities

Client Experience

  1. Win clients' loyalty.
  2. Welcome, listen to, understand, shape, and satisfy client needs, exceeding their expectations.
  3. Share knowledge to build trust and repeat business.
  4. Introduce complimentary services to the client and assist to uplift the average basket sales.
  5. Apply Sephora Attitude with the use of digital tools to enhance the client’s experience.
  6. Share product knowledge to build the sale and basket.
  7. Have a friendly and engaging personality in order to foster and maintain long-lasting positive client relationships.

Education & Demonstration

  1. Assist and guide clients on the most appropriate range of products, according to their needs and skin type.
  2. Support your store team in explaining and demonstrating new products to the clients.
  3. Display an exceptional image and body language in accordance with the Sephora grooming guidelines.
  4. Make sure to set an example and be always a role model.
  5. Know customer beauty pass status, points and current offers.
  6. Introduce beauty pass offers and follow the right scanning process.
  7. Answer customer questions or refer them to the staff who can best provide answers if the information is specific to a certain product.
  8. Promote Sephora website and other digital tools.
  9. Fix complaints related to the beauty pass program.

Sales

  1. Use the Sephora Attitude & selling techniques to build and maximize each client's basket.
  2. Contribute to achieving store monthly turnover.
  3. Contribute to the store commercial and operational KPIs.
  4. Offer +1 from Beauty to GO, including the sale of gift vouchers.
  5. Cross-sell products to customers and introduce new products or Animation items.
  6. Introduce complimentary services to the client and assist to uplift the average basket sales.

Operations

  1. Respect and follow Sephora attitude at all times.
  2. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
  3. Balance the cash register and generate reports for credit and debits.
  4. Follow all cash procedures as per Sephorapedia, audit guidelines and CEE report.
  5. Maintain the cash wrap area with all appropriate levels of packaging and supplies.
  6. Maintain a clean workspace at the cash area, gift wrap and Beauty to GO.
  7. Have a Beauty to GO focus with selling replenishment, pricing, merchandising and cleanliness.
  8. Update discrepancy file, shift summary reports and other cash-related processes.
  9. Be flexible and able to work with a schedule that may be different from week to week.
  10. Support your store team with merchandising procedures (products, testers, prices, animations and stock room, beauty hub tools, etc.) according to Sephora standards.
  11. Display an exceptional image and body language in accordance with the Sephora Grooming Guidelines.
  12. Assist your store in all departments where necessary (cash, operations other axis).
  13. Contribute to the overall store’s image through cleanliness and product restocking.
  14. Contribute to improving on audit findings.

Know How

Keep the knowledge and skills up to date by attending regular training, either in-class at/with Sephora University, in your store and by connecting and actively using our digital training platform.

Job Holder Profile

Experience

1-2 years’ experience in sales and operations.

Passion for beauty.

Languages

English – minimum intermediate level.
