Cashier

Responsibilities:

1. Greets customers including answering phones and directing customer inquiries to appropriate party.
2. Answers routine billing questions/issues from customers.
3. Assists in the opening and closing of the store, which includes cash handling and deposits.
4. Completes, processes, and maintains applicable paperwork and records.
5. Identifies prices of goods using memory or scanner.
6. Enters transactions in the cash register and provides customers with the total bill.
7. Sorts and counts currency and coins.
8. Issues receipts and change to customers.
9. Counts money at the end and beginning of each shift.
10. Processes credit card and check payments.
11. Performs the duties of customer service representative when required.
12. Assists in stocking shelves, rotating merchandise, and marking prices.
13. Opens and closes tills.

Requirements:

1. Proficiency in Russian.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in cashiering.
3. Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment, handling high volumes of transactions efficiently.
4. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team of at least 10 staff members.
5. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
6. Detail-oriented and highly observant.
7. Ability to multitask.
