Cashier

Zahr Freighters is looking for a detail-oriented Cashier to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in cash management, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Process customer payments, invoices, and refunds accurately.
2. Maintain records of cash, credit transactions, and financial reports.
3. Handle cash registers, reconcile daily transactions, and ensure balance accuracy.
4. Assist with financial documentation and liaise with the accounts team.
5. Address customer inquiries related to payments and billing.
6. Follow company policies and procedures to ensure financial security.
7. Support the finance team in administrative and clerical tasks as needed.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in accounting or finance is a plus.
2. Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar finance-related role.
3. Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
4. Familiarity with accounting software and POS systems.
5. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
6. Ability to work independently and handle financial transactions responsibly.
