The Firefighting BIM Modeler is responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating Building Information Models (BIM) for firefighting systems using advanced Revit software. This role ensures compliance with project requirements, local regulations, and UAE standards, contributing to the successful delivery of complex projects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop accurate and detailed 3D models for firefighting systems using Revit software.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate designs and resolve clashes using BIM tools.
• Prepare and update models to ensure they reflect design changes and project specifications.
• Work on UAE-based projects ensuring compliance with local standards, codes, and regulations.
• Produce drawings and documentation including installation layouts, schematics, and schedules directly from the BIM models.
• Review and validate models for consistency, accuracy, and constructability.
• Conduct clash detection and resolve conflicts in collaboration with other disciplines using Navisworks or similar software.
• Prepare project documentation including as-built drawings for project closeout and handover.
• Generate detailed BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and material takeoffs directly from BIM models.
• Liaise with engineers, designers, and project managers to align modeling efforts with project goals.
• Support the implementation of BIM standards, templates, and workflows.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in firefighting systems modeling in the GCC, including UAE projects.

• Hands-on experience with design consultancy or contracting firms specializing in MEP systems.
• Expert-level proficiency in Revit for MEP modeling with a focus on firefighting systems.
• Experience with Navisworks for clash detection and coordination.
• Knowledge of UAE firefighting design standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., NFPA, UAE Fire Code).
• Must be locally available in the UAE and can join immediately.
