Job Description

Umm-al-Qaiwain is in need of an experienced Carpenter to join our team. We are offering a competitive salary of 1800 AED for the right candidate. We are willing to consider foreign applicants with minimal work experience for this role.

Requirements for the Candidate:

1. Minimum 1 year of carpentry experience
2. Knowledge of safety standards and safety equipment
3. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
4. Possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail
5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
6. Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.

Job Duties:

1. Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, etc.
2. Measure, cut and shape wood using hand tools and power tools as needed.
3. Construct cabinets, shelves, furniture pieces, stairs and other wooden items according to customer specifications.
4. Assemble components such as panels, countertops or doors using glue or clamps as necessary.
5. Repair damaged furniture or any other wooden structure.

Brief Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Carpenter who is knowledgeable in all aspects of carpentry work. The successful candidate must be able to read blueprints, have a good understanding of safety standards & equipment, possess strong organizational skills with great attention to detail as well as excellent communication skills both verbal & written in order to effectively carry out their duties which include installing structures & fixtures such as windows & frames, cutting & shaping wood using hand tools & power tools; constructing cabinets & shelves; assembling components; repairing damaged furniture; etc.
