Job Description:

• Job Responsibility includes maintaining hospital items such as furniture, locks, repairs of internal & external wooden structures, and gypsum works. All painting and touchup related works.

Responsibilities:

• Making new furniture and fixtures as per the requirement.
• Repairing damaged furniture.
• Repairing and replacing locks and cylinders.
• Fixing the partitions using gypsum board and cement board as and when required.
• Repairing and replacing the ceiling fixtures.
• Fixing of vinyl flooring as and when required.
• Assist and coordinate with engineering staff.
• Maintaining the doors, windows, furniture, and other items.
• Inspect hospital building and facilities for needed services and repairs.
• To do painting works with putty for smooth surface finish.
• To be able to refurbish the old furniture with painting works.
• Adheres to JCIA and other quality standards.
• To be ready to do the task regardless of time to attend the emergency calls for any issues.
• To carry out any other task related to building maintenance assigned by the supervisors.

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or its equivalent.
• Carpentry skills and experience. At least 3 years’ experience in the relevant field.
• Fluent in spoken and written English. Arabic language is advantageous but not essential.
