JOB TITLE: Carpenter

LOCATION: Jabal-Ali, Dubai

SALARY: 1300 AED/Month

We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team in Jabal-Ali, Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for the production of high-quality furniture and other wood items. The ideal applicant should have at least 3 years of experience in carpentry as well as excellent knowledge of woodworking tools. We are open to considering a foreigner for this role.

Responsibilities:

1. Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge
2. Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other material (e.g. fiberglass) according to measurements
3. Assemble cut and shaped materials and fasten them together with nails, screws, staples or adhesives
4. Construct building frameworks including walls, floors and doorframes
5. Install structures and fixtures such as windows, door frames, baseboards, trim etc.
6. Follow established safety rules and regulations in the workplace
7. Ensure all projects are completed within a timely manner while maintaining quality standards

Requirements:

1. Minimum 3 years of carpentry experience
2. Working knowledge of woodworking tools (e.g. saws) and equipment (e.g. drills)
3. Ability to read technical documents such as blueprints or drawings
4. Understanding of basic math concepts (e.g., angles for cutting)
5. Good physical strength with the ability to lift heavy objects
