Job Summary: Duties may vary relying on the number and emphasis of the Senior Monitoring Group. Below is a detailed breakdown of the responsibilities associated with the position of Caregiver at Manzil Health Care Solutions. The actual scope of duties will be determined periodically by the Director of Operations in combination with the Charge Nurses and Managers.

Responsibilities:

1. Assists individuals by providing personal services, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
2. Helps nurses in manual handling of clients and with showering.
3. Under the guidance of registered nurses and therapists, engages with children when appropriate.
4. Maintains a safe, clean, and healthy client environment by ensuring the room is tidy.
5. Supports the nursing staff by performing tasks as appropriate.
6. Ensures rooms are equipped with the necessary supplies.
7. Assists patients and nurses on outings.
8. Participates in the social activities of the patients.

Job Specific Skills and Capabilities:

1. Able to assess patients' needs and report to RN.
2. Able to assist with all activities of daily living.
3. Able to prioritize own workload.
4. Self-motivated.
5. Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in English.
6. Able to work independently.

Requirements:

1. Diploma in relevant field or Caregiver training program or Bachelor Degree in Nursing.
