Job Title: Caregiver (Homecare) - NGT/PEG & Tracheostomy Experience

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and compassionate caregiver with expertise in NGT (Nasogastric Tube), PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy), and tracheostomy care. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in homecare, with a solid understanding and hands-on experience in managing complex medical conditions. You will be providing support to clients with specialized needs in a home setting, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Administer medication as directed and manage feeding via NGT, PEG, or other medical devices
• Assist with tracheostomy care and ensure proper ventilation support
• Perform routine health monitoring, including vital signs, and report any changes to the healthcare team
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, feeding, and light housekeeping
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring all medical equipment is functioning properly
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date care documentation
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and family members

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of homecare experience, with specific knowledge and hands-on experience with NGT, PEG, and tracheostomy care
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid certification in CPR and First Aid
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage medical equipment and provide specialized care as needed
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with families and healthcare professionals
• Background check required

Preferred:

• Certification in specialized caregiving (e.g., home health aide, CNA)
• Additional training in tracheostomy, PEG, and NGT management
