Car Driver- Delivery Boy

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure that packages are properly stacked and secured inside the delivery vehicle and maintain proper knowledge of loaded items. Carry out collection and delivery duties exercising care and responsibility, ensuring the security of items as well as maintenance of the bike.
2. Provide excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
3. Have knowledge about road safety regulations and traffic rules of the UAE.
4. Take delivery instructions from supervisors.
5. Use GPS devices and mobile navigation to chart out appropriate routes for delivery.
6. Adhere to speed limits to avoid possible misadventures.
7. Assist in unloading items off the vehicle in a safe manner.
8. Ensure that delivery receipts are signed and collect payments for deliveries made, including handling change.
9. Fill in pertinent information such as mileage and delivery time in the company-provided log books.
10. Conduct inspections of vehicles before departing to deliver goods and perform diagnosis and troubleshooting activities on vehicles if needed. Ensure that the delivery schedule is followed.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

• Salary: Commission based
• Work location: Sharjah
• 1 day weekly off
• Experience in grocery delivery will be a plus.
