Position Title: Waiter/Waitress cum Cashier in Arabic Restaurant

Employment Type: Full Time

Salary: Depending on experience

Experience: 2-3 years minimum in same position

Job Responsibilities:

1. Greeting customers in a friendly manner.
2. Providing detailed information on menus.
3. Multi-tasking various front-of-the-house duties and collecting the bill.
4. Able to perform well in fast-paced environments.
5. Take customer orders at the counter.
6. Receive payments and present change to customers.
7. Place food orders in the appropriate bags and boxes.
8. Respond to customer inquiries, issue receipts, and record customer suggestions.
9. Function as the host/hostess of the restaurant.
10. Make reservations for customers.
11. Manage the register, including all credit card and cash operations.
12. Ensure a balance of the register at the end of the shift or working period.
13. Be able to effectively communicate with our Kitchen Staff to make sure orders are accurate and delivered promptly.
14. Other duties and responsibilities related to the position.

Skills & Job Requirements:

1. Must have experience as a Waiter/Waitress cum cashier.
2. Positive and friendly attitude.
3. Have the patience, personality, and perseverance to thrive in this role.
4. Hands-on experience with cash register and ordering information system & POS.
5. Flexibility to work split shifts.
6. Attentiveness and patience to the customers.
7. Excellent grooming standards.
8. Exceptional listening and good communication skills.
9. Well versed in the steps of service.
10. Food and safety knowledge and certificate.
