Calculation Engineer - Ansys M - F H / F

As part of our development in Dubai, we are looking to recruit a Structural Calculation Engineer on a permanent contract with solid experience in the dimensioning and verification of complex mechanical systems.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

1. Analyzing specifications.
2. Creating meshes and input data.
3. Performing appropriate calculations.
4. Writing calculation notes and conclusions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Engineering or Doctorate degree in Mechanics, with a minimum of 5 years of successful experience in a similar position.
• Proficiency in one of the following software programs:
• ANSYS (Workbench and APDL environment)
• Pipestress
• ALTAIR
• Hypermesh
• Seismic calculations (modal / spectral analysis)
• Good knowledge of structural mechanics calculations (beam stresses, analytical calculations in Excel and / or MATHCAD).
• Knowledge of the main calculation codes: ideally FEM, EUROCODES, CODAP, RCCM.
• Knowledge and skills in health, safety, and environmental matters will be appreciated.
