Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Cafe Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. As the Cafe Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of cafe operations, including managing staff, ensuring high-quality food and beverage offerings, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and maximizing profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Hire, train, and supervise cafe staff, including baristas, kitchen staff, and servers
• Create and maintain staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and optimal efficiency
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance customer service and streamline operations
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
• Manage budgets, expenses, and financial reporting to achieve profitability targets
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote cafe events and specials

Requirements:

• Previous experience in cafe or restaurant management
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
